I'd probably do a longsword, but a fast, light weapon is a very good idea.

Personally, I think a non-thw is best for this sort of weapon. As you want the weapon to flare.

Another good spell for casters is any type of mana drain spell. If the weapon allowed bard spells, I would be all over this. Really rather pissed they excluded bard spells from the weapon.

could always use 409/415 as a bard, and with the elore review (rofl) it might even hit more than one target. Probably not ideal, not as nice as 1002 or whatever.

I'd use 1005, 1008 and 1013 flares most likely. 1030 would be nice, if they were not AoE version. Alas, we'll never find out.

Does this prove bard spells are OP without the constant mana upkeep? Or even in general?
