Normally I don't like to release such details in advance, but since this appears to be a hot issue, I'll go head and state:

We're planning to allow Clerics and Paladins a title suffix of "of <deity>" for their profession level (not skill) based titles. So, yes, there will be High Priests of Koar, Templars of Luukos, etc.

These titles were already learned by achieving certain levels and adding a suffix doesn't change what you are. Sabreon phrased with well with:

The title High Priest already exists so does archpriest or churchwarden. No one has to appoint you a high priest. The only thing is you are just "A high priest" Of what? Most people when asked would say "High priest of <deity name here>". People already RP this so why not make it an option.

Just an update on this.

They said you're going to need 40 Religion Lore ranks in order to get the <of Diety> suffix after your title.

Start migrating.

I am considering looking at going 1x lores overall now that I'll be bumping Religion lore up. Zealot will be at +38 and -22 at 40 religion ranks.

Also adding up to 50 skill in Summoning (skill not ranks) gives your 1630 an 4th hit. (Worth it for Grimswarm.)

And blessings adds DF% via 1605... and extra CON via 1616, +extra CMAN ranks via 1611...

So, yes it is looking more and more worthwhile to 1x lores to a certain point.

10 -Summoning
10-20 Blessing
