Perhaps the greatest endurance athletes in the world, I was surprised by the amount of race tactics actually needed for success. I have been watching this event for the past few years and just now gained the courage to come out of the closet. Now before we get to hasty I agree it's not football or baseball but what other sporting event can you watch live at 07:30 AM (don't mention golf).

Soccer is one, especially when it involves South Korea or Japan.

I will admit to occasionally watching the Tour de France, but only for the crashes and the idiots who cause them with dogs, water bottles, being drunk, or whatever. It is one of the few events where the spectators regularly are part of the action.
