Thread: Official: Puncture Immune No More.

  1. #1

Default Official: Puncture Immune No More.

After a fairly regular regimen of scoldings and beatings, creatures of Elanthia that formerly exhibited an immunity to puncture damage will do so no longer. These outright immunities have been replaced with resistances of varying magnitude, depending on the creature. In general, bony creatures and arachnids will be the most resistant to puncture damage, while other creatures with thick hides will be less resistant.

(wrathbringer78) I think that's it. Viril is one big obnoxious ambient script.

Agreed, I always did think that was bullshit. Glad they fixed it.

    About fucking time.
Freedom... is the ability to challenge yourself far beyond the constraints of traditional rule and order. We draw strength from our passions... we're driven by desire... even hatred can be a worthy ally when used against an enemy... and yet, we are told to turn our backs on these things... the very feelings, emotions... that make us all... human.

I distinctively remember puncture-immune creatures being made not immune and taking less damage in the past. Maybe it was just an open discussion on the officials. SIMU is messing with my mind.

Ah, ha! That explains the increase in damage my military pick is doing to constructs. I like it!

They were doing conversions on a creature by creature basis. They either A. Finished redesigning the remaining puncture immune creatures, or B. Redid the system entirely. My guess is on A.

Yeah, this is the first thing I thought of after reading the headline as well. Any answers here?
