I'm screwing around in a trial and we haven't seen updated layouts in a few years. Wondering how retarded mine looks compared to others.

Razzle them. Dazzle them. Razzle dazzle them.
Nice layout.
But no mana pulse timer?
looks just like mine, except i don't keep any boxes for thoughts open. and my deaths show up in the main window
Why do I need a mana pulse timer with 0 mana?
Edit: That's not my current state - I literally have 0 mana.

Ah, that would explain it. Even my warrior has his up, since he's in GoS. Never played anyone with absolutely no mana.
Obviously it's a personal preference but I always find it strange when people put the status information (health etc) far away from the command entry line and the cursor. If they're close together, you have all of your crucial information in one place. I put everything that's crucial in a pinch in the same place instead of spreading it out across the screen.
I've been criticized for my color scheme before but they work well for my highlights (private thoughts in yellow stand out against the blue background). They also help separate the windows so I can find the information faster. Not sure why I keep a room window. I don't use it.
More important than actual layout to me is that the text is dark on a light background. Though, I've come to read that if you have impaired vision, white text on a black background tends to be preferable.
I like Piet Mondrian, too.

You search the halfling baker.
He didn't carry any silver.
Interesting, he carried a frosted orange cookie on him.
