Yeah when did things go to shit at work Delias? I seem recall numerous posts from you over the past couple of years where you went on and on about how much you love your job. Also you commute 100 miles a day for work? You must have liked that job at some point.
Sorry things turned out the way they did though.

Actually the death of the owner IS when it all started to go to shit. That is when all expansion and thus all upward mobility ground to a halt. Plus, the lack of karate made everything boring. As part of our training exercises we originally had to fight off ninjas who were trying to use our facilities for free... but no karate means we couldn't keep rival clans from beating up our accountants and stuff, so business started going downhill.
Somehow over the last few years I became the GM's goto fall guy whenever something went wrong. In essence he wanted me to do as much as his job as possible while paying me as little as possible, and holding me accountable for things that weren't my job to begin with.
Apply for unemployment benefits. Changing your job responsibilities without an increase in pay/benefits/job title is considered a valid reason for quitting your job. Sure it might be hard to prove but hey, you're unemployed, what else you got to do? Make your old boss waste his time fighting it or they might just not bother fighting it.
