1) I got props at work from our IT department for being so thorough in testing updates to some coding in our timeclock system and not letting the company that makes the software get away with half-assing the job.. and because my boss was copied on that email (and has been copied in on every email I've sent to the programmer), I then got props from my boss. Even though this whole project is a pain in my ass. (But if this job's not done right, something we're paying WAAAY too much money for, I'm the one who has to manually go in after every damn holiday and fix pay, so yes, I'm going to make sure it's done right from the start.)

2) Bowling league today. Against one of the best teams in the league. During warm-up/practice time, I throw a bunch of gutterballs while I figure out just how I'm throwing today and adjust to the stupid corner lane. Play starts... and I go right out with 4 strikes in a row, spare, strike. I had my two best scores EVER, even before my handicap: 183 and 178. (Usually I'm just trying to break 100, that's how good my bowling is still.)

The other day I went to go buy beer for my mom, and the lady at the register asked me how old I was and I responded, "I'm twenty....three...no wait..two...hmm." I was then carded, which is good because I wanted to know how old I was too.
