Was out in the garage and noticed an old bottle above one of the doors, pushed back against the wall. It was an old half pint bottle with just enough label left for me to read a few words including "smooth" and "whiskey", fortunately. The markings on the bottom indicate that it was made in 1938, just five years after prohibition ended. Our house was built in 1932. That thing has been sitting there a loooooooooooooooooooong time. It's all dusty and cool looking. I brought it in and put it in our built-in curio cabinet for display as a conversation piece. I had no luck figuring out what brand it may have been, did a google search for whiskey labels around that year and didn't see anything that matched. Would be cool to know.

Post a picture. It was empty, right?
You had better pay your guild dues before you forget. You are 113 months behind.

Getting Obamacare for my meds. Well, Medicaid Part D bumped up to Part C. Honestly, I have no idea what being on Part C is doing for me vs. when I was on Part D. Anyone?

Also, getting another severance from the Police Dept.

No sir, I was and still am a civilian. Worked out of two units, primarily doing sergeant-level deskwork using Mochasoft. Approving PPNs and whatnot. Sometimes learning + doing tactical analysis with programs like BAIR's ATAC, etc., etc., etc.

(PS, cops are all civilians too. They just hate hearing it.)

Yeah, but when your direct superior is a former decorated Marine it does stuff?
