an enruned blued-steel flamberge
Four feet of precision wavy blade, blued until it resembles watered silk, has been acid-etched with intricate runic patterns running from blade tip to thrak hide-wrapped ricassa. A damascened gold and silver hilt and quillion add another two feet to the length of this already imposing weapon. Impressed within the pommel lies an onyx intaglio of a rampant firecat. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.
2.5x expertly-weighted (incredible under the old scale, approx. 30-35 points of weighting)
titanium forged (metal is now steel, but forging is not steel stats)

Why is the flamberge no longer titanium?

For the same reason it's no longer a claidhmore, I'd guess. Whoever converted the base lost the metal name too.

It used to be called a "flamberge" but actually be a claidhmore. At the same time, titanium was in the name. When the base was converted to true flamberge, the item was altered, and although the forging remains, the name is gone.
