Is there a level threshold where they won’t change your name as long as it’s not offensive because I have an awesome one that I don’t want to change and have made it to 12 with no bad naming yet

Pretty sure unless you are an OG, you can get badnamed out. Just because you snuck MithrilDichol to 20 trains doesn’t mean he is safe.

I also thought I've heard of them not making you change your train level/skills etc. Just making you change the name.

Except that is pretty much exactly what they do. I've badnamed some actually badnames before, not the bullshit you post up here, and I've seen the message left by a GM saying "too high level".

I'm almost positive there used to be an automated message that said when a badnamed person was too high a level.

There might very well be, but I've even seen GM responses saying the character was too high level.
