Thread: Death's Sting Residue

    I just created a Dwarven warrior especially to run into Cavernhold to collect the crystals needed for the second portion of the quest.

    However, I can't seem to find the [Cavernhold, Crystal Mine] room that this guide refers to.

    Anyone have any ideas? Is it past the locked invisible door to the east of Tsoran's Cavernhold map? Its incredibly annoying, because my rogue is Half-Elven and therefore can't reach that door, but my Dwarven warrior lacks the picking skills to unlock it.

    Let me just say up front how stupid this quest is, that you must be Halfling or Dwarven to complete a significant portion of it.

    Try using the disarm alchemy potions, I think they work on the Graveyard gate in WL.

    I've got about 20 of the unlock potions sitting in my shop if you want to make a deal for residue.
    I want a Game Genie code for "Only Get Uncut Emerald Bounties".

    Nuke the dwarf, roll up a dwarf rogue, bring him to level 2 or 3 or something, shouldn't take too long. Train in only lockpicking and physical fitness. Give him a few lockpicks. The door's got a very simple lock.

    Cavernhold is a level 14 area. Plus, you need I believe 90 Bonus in perception to find the door.

    The character I camped there was level 5 or something. Made it through just fine. And if you get killed? Decay and try again.

    Since nobody ever goes in there, the place is pretty much empty of creatures until you step in there and get the spawn rate starting. It's easy enough to run through in defensive to where you need to go. And the room with the crystals is safe.
