I would split it into three parts.

Robe, collar + cowl (include clasp in this description) and the belt

a deep black silk cowl secured with an intricate dual amethyst-on-gold clasp, a wide-sleeved black silk robe stitched down the seams with gold runes, a stiff black leather belt that curves down to a sharp point in the front.
