    Default Psinet help for Vista

SO. I just got a new laptop with Vista on it and I can't figure out how to get the fucker to cooperate with me when installing Psinet. I have the folder on my computer fine, but I recall just being able to click and drag the files into the SGE folder. I had attempted to do the same, but they wont move over.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I can get version 1313 to work, but I can't get the latest update to work correctly.

I also have it working with v2.0.1.1313 ( I just dl'd it from the website ). I have to launch via the play.net website to make it work though, as when I try to open the SGE, nothing happens.

WINDOWS NEEDS YOUR PERMISSION TO CONTINUE:

ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO USE PSINET? MAYBE YOU REALLY DON'T WANT TO.

    YEAH THAT

So far I'm more than a little agitated at all the security checks for EVERYTHING.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong then. I've tried to get into the game using SGE, and just directly from the website. No dice.

I have the setup icon on my desktop and when I click it it says:
You are running PsiNet from a different location than it was installed to. Psinet should be run from the location it was installed to. If that location is no longer available, Psinet will need to be uninstalled.

And then it asks me if I want to uninstall. I've installed, uninstalled, reinstalled several times already to no avail. I'm going to try and move the setup icon in to the Psinet folder in the hopes that this is what will fix it. If anyone has any other ideas I'm all ears.

Are you using the latest SGE? I don't think it is compatible with Psinet.

I'm not sure how because I don't use Vista, but you can turn off those security checks and I think that might fix the problem.
