Edit: This is a millipede which was EVERYWHERE in Africa. In our house, in our pantries, on our porches, in our shoes. They would of been in our beds had I not netted that shit up like a motherfucker. They're fucking scary looking but really docile. First time I saw one though I was seeing a black mamba. Didn't know at the time mambas are actually greyish-brown in color. Some of the ones I've seen are over a foot long. This is a smaller specimen.

Nope. you have to do it in steps. No pun intended.

Millipedes have two legs per side per segment, centipedes have one..so, effectively, for the same number of segments, a millipede has twice the legs as a centipede.
