    You can't win... I had a guy yell at me for saying "Happy Holidays" because I didn't say Merry Christmas.

    That shows only his ignorance, Jenisi. There are more holidays being celebrated at this time of year than Christmas. Happy holidays is a good way to ensure that everyone who is celebrating is included in the good wishes. If this guy doesn't wish those who do not share his belief to have a happy holiday season, that's certainly up to him; however, I pity him.

    The politically correct standoffish attitude is the only thing not in the holiday spirit. My Jewish friend put it best-- Someone saying Merry Christmas to you is the same as them saying Happy <anything else>. Just take the meaning behind the message and grow up.

    Whether one says Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, or Happy Solstice isn't the issue. Getting angry because someone didn't say things your way is the issue, as I see it, Xaerve.
