Getting to go last seems more important to me than which side of the screen the candidate is on. Why did Biden place more importance on the side of the stage he would occupy?

We're getting excited about something that may never happen. Trump is unlikely to show up at the debates.

Trump said he would "absolutely" testify in his current criminal case. I predict he will take the Fifth in that case, which is the absolute opposite of what he said he would do. When it comes to the debates, he will find an excuse to back out. All hat, no cattle.

Trump posted on social media a letter from Trump's former physician, Ronny "Candyman" Jackson, to the White House demanding that Biden take a drug test both before and after the debate. This could be the excuse Trump has been looking for.
