Accounting is different from personal finance. You’re looking at this with a view of the finance world. The problem we have right now is so many people are financially illiterate that how can they be expected to teach their kids? Just like government and religion gives parallel rules to live life by(a debate for a different day) schools and parents should also be creating parallel learning for their kids.

Basic accounting is literally one of the most important skills you can have in life. The ability to manage and understand your money. If you as a parent are financially illiterate, then it’s your job as a parent to make sure that your child learns it, visit a bank, take a course as a parent, to teach your child. Make sure your child takes classes when they get older. Don’t pass on your mistakes to your child, you should learn and be better.

My friend is a single dad raising a girl, and he took a class on makeup, hair products and what not so he can help teach his daughter about it. That’s what parents should be doing, not expecting other people to do it for them.

I suspect trump will add someone who can pull more from the left. He needs margins of victory we’ll beyond doubt to bypass the rigged system. Not sure he can do that with another freedom caucus member unless something major happens to drive people right, although things are slowly shifting that way already.

I’m not sure who that is though. RFK was the natural choice because they worked together on the first round but I don’t think they’ll go that route.
