Egg prices aren't really that much higher than they were. I pay like a dollar more for the 18 pack I've always gotten.

They are double the price in my area compared to a year ago, triple compared to 2020.

Your area seems to suck for everything every time. You should move.

I was just thinking the opposite for where you live. Did your city erect an inflation bubble or something?

Although a dollar more for 18 eggs sounds like prices almost doubled in your area too, unless eggs were already really high in your area to begin with.

I've always bought the more expensive eggs. They were 7.50 for 18 a year ago, they are about 8.40 now. I could be cheap af and buy the eggs most of you peasants eat at $3.70 a dozen though.

Well shit. 7.50 is more than I'm paying for eggs now. Are you secretly Veruca Salt?

No, I've never skimped on eggs and meat. I will always pay premiums for the best quality on those items.
