    Default Shield Acquisition and Skills

    As a Paladin, which shields should I acquire, and which skills should I specialize in? I'm guessing Tower would be best, but I have no idea where to find/purchase one with sufficient enchantment.

    I am just returning to the game, but I have some resources available to me.

    I believe tower shields are the most popular for Paladins. But this could also depend on your dodge training - I haven't actually done the math for someone with 2x shield/2x dodge.
