    Hi best folder on the forum!
    I just wondered if someone could help explain MIU to me please. I checked the wiki and its just numbers to me. I'm not a numbers person

    All I want to do is use a 608 item. I think it's tap, or rub.

    I thought if I got an explanation for this I might be able to understand how to do it for other spells.

    Oh one last thing, I do understand spellburst kind of. Roughly how much MIU and HP would I need to carry 509 and 608.

    Need to know your Int Bonus, Wis Bonus, and Logic Bonus. The formula is adding some positive factors the subtracting level of spellx5 and then adding that total to a d100 roll. If all of that combined is over 100 the item activates.

    As for spell burst, assuming you aren't a class who can learn 509 or 608 natively, and also assuming you have no harness power training, lore training , mana controls or spell aiming you should need about 40 total ranks of MIU and AS (as in 20 of each or 40 of one) to carry those two spells. Due to the fuzziness of the formula, probably safer to get 50 ranks to be sure. All this assuming you are carrying NO other spells you didn't cast yourself.
