    Default Student Loan Forgiveness

Is forgiving student loans a good idea or a bad idea?
All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest, with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force take a drink from the Ohio or make a track on the Blue Ridge in a trial of a thousand years. At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer. If it ever reach us it must....

I think college costs are astronomically too high and that is what needs to be altered. Forgiving an amount commensurate to new lower college costs would work in my opinion, but not just an outright forgiveness of the loans. Of course, by forgiveness, everyone really means using tax dollars to pay back lenders.

Of course, just like the Medical industry, everyone always attacks the result and not the cause.

If they would stop guaranteeing loans, college prices would plummet.

Possibly. Of course, how many people would then just bankrupt right out of college while they still don't have any assets? Especially people that went through to a Doctorate.

November is coming up.. Democrats will promise anything to try and stop the bleeding of support.

Student Loan Forgiveness will do nothing but increase inflation and college prices.

Also, since I paid for myself and 2 kids to go through college, how do I go about getting reimbursed?

Democrats are so desperate they are literally bribing voters with taxpayer money.

It's not so bad if you let your elderly mother work so she can pay it for you, like Certain People have done.

I'm sorry no one got your initial spin, ClydeR.

    Next time be more obvious.

Certain People have been pretending to be someone they are not since at least Dec 2007 because they are sensitive little pussies.

You'd get nothing, just like you aren't getting Child Tax Credits for them, but people with children under 18 are now.

Remind me again which President made a big deal out of putting his name on the pandemic relief checks going out to most Americans?
