i hunt solo and self-spelled in nelemar currently (1st and 3rd floors) with no problems. i run fervor, and my AS with GOS sigils is 485, and my CS is 410

any thoughts on weaknesses or just start working PF and Cman to 2x?

I would just go for nice round numbers and/or specific breakpoints that you can actually hit before 100. I would save 2x-ing something for the post-cap grind.

Examples: 25 ranks ambush, 180 armor for -1 AP, CMAN points to get Wspec to 5, 40 religion for the titles, HP to 1x, climbing to 50 etc etc. 47 RANKS EW.

ok bumped climbing to 50, had enough cman points to bump wspec to t4, just hadnt done it yet, will that extra 10 ranks in ambush really make a difference? im using a wickedly curved faenor waraxe, and i seem to aim it pretty well, and my 4 swing focused mstrike is 5 seconds. thought about lores, but not really sure which ones would benefit me the most. anyways thanks for the insight

Short answer on open aiming/ambush here... but yes getting to 24/25 ranks would be statistically worth if you open ambush on the reg.

Lores... pre-cap I mention 40 religion for the deity titles. Outside of the deity titles, Paladin lores are kind all over the place.

Just for reference, at cap, my paladin has 40/40/20 Religion/Summoning/Blessing. Religion lore is good in general, Summoning seems to mostly buff the offensive spells (and helps with the spell infusing on 1625), whereas Blessing seems to mostly buff the defensive spells we have.

    Otherwise, Shamurai has good suggestions.

Focus on what you want to hunt at the next few monster levels you can hunt most efficiently. Adjust your skill goals accordingly. Your biggest attack skill gains are going to from doubling combat manuvers. Buying or enchanting better weapons and armor is also one of the best ways to boost skill level and hunting ability at cap. 7-10x weapons and crit weighted weapons are very important or required for cap and post cap hunting.

Probably want to boost your spirit spells from 120 to 140 at or around cap. 130 is really nice to have for returning to town after hunts or rescues. Also useful for returning to town during invasions.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but my paladin, who is nearly 10m exp, hunts with a 6x handaxe with the only extra thing on it being fully 1625'd.

Sure, 7-10x, weighting, flares, scripts, whatever are nice... but not required.
