Help with THW

Could I have some help with the training plan for 2hw please. I don’t fully understand what I need to be training in. I’ve been bow user since the start and I think I just need to ;
2x ambush
2x hide
1x pt
2x 2hw
1x spells
2x perception

Plus some odd survival or FS thrown in. And 10 lore for AS benefits.

Is this right. Or is this bullshit. Any help really appreciated. Thank you

2x ambush and perception feel like overkill to me. 1x in each should be plenty sufficient. This is my katana wielding ranger:

Edit: I haven't revisited this since PSM3 dropped, I might reconfigure some of the magical training to get 2x hiding for the sneak RT to make up for smastery

Last I played I ran a HK 2-hander ranger, though I didn't train in ambush or stalking and hiding. 2x pt, 2x spells, 2x cman. Open with swarm or spike thorn then swing away. The build was working fine into the late 60's and didn't have to fuck with the hiding bullshit.

So is perception / ambush not needed 2x to hit stuff in the head most of the time?
