So the anti-white, anti-capitalist founder of a shakedown organization paid 1.4 million dollars for a home in a predominately white neighborhood.

I would say I'm surprised.. but I'm not.

    At all.

    The racial makeup of Topanga was 7,313 (88.2%) White (84.5% Non-Hispanic White),[14] 117 (1.4%) African American

"She cites Angela Davis for her "political theories and reflections on anticapitalist movements around the world", her work towards "a broader antiracist and antiwar movement", and her fight against white supremacy in the US"

She told an interviewer in 2015 that "seeking spirituality had a lot to do with trying to seek understanding about my conditions—how these conditions shape me in my everyday life and how I understand them as part of a larger fight, a fight for my life."

She hates white people, capitalism, and is fighting hard for her life. You can tell how afraid she is of "whitey" and how America is "keeping her down". You really can.

As a side note, I don't give two shits where she lives or what she does. I want everyone to live their best life. It's her hypocrisy, and people thinking she's a true believer, that makes me laugh.

She is just another liberal hypocrite. I work with someone who is always harping about BLM and what a great organization it is, for once, I cannot wait to go back to work.

I remember watching a clip of a NBA or NFL Aftican-American player shouting, "I don't want them here!" as BLM protestors started marching into his multi-million dollar gated community.

It's all about the money folks, always has been.

Of course, it depends where in CA. $1.4 million in the heart of Silicon Valley might get you a 1100 square foot home that is 60 years old. Maybe.

In Palmdale or Lancaster (IE in the desert nowhere near the ocean), you could get...shall we say...a bit more for the same money.
