Just found this and have recollections of people using these. Holds 150 lbs, any number of items, can be lightened and may be deepened (first time i have seen an analyze come up open ended).

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the oak sea chest in your hand, and you learn something about it...
From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the chest is as a container of some kind with a maximum interior capacity of 150 pounds with room for any number of items.

You estimate that a black oak sea chest can store a huge amount with enough space for any number of items.
You determine that you could not wear the chest.

You analyze your oak sea chest and sense that the item is free from merchant alteration restrictions.
Try as you might, you cannot get a good sense of whether or not the chest's pockets could get any deeper, but you might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the oak sea chest for you.
