Anyone else finding that this doesn’t really work any more?

What part specifically? I've been using it for Warcries effectively.

Also if one of Dreavens scripts isn't working, you should mention it on his thread so he can take a look at it.

It works fine for the most part, but gets hung up after a promotion. I just kill it, get a new task, and restart it again.
You remove a pair of oval ora-framed spectacles with pale grey lenses from in your ebon linen vest.

You unfold the earpieces of your spectacles.

You put on a pair of oval ora-framed spectacles with pale grey lenses.

You think to yourself, "Deal with it."

Was using it for tackle with the masters, goes stance off, tries to tackle once, then I get tackled and just lay on the ground. Doesn’t kick in if I manually stand.

It worked well for warcries, berserk, and warrior tricks. Batter has always seemed broken.

    [go2]>east
    [Warrior Guild, East Lawn]
The paths from the north and west break into a large, well-worn spot in the middle of this expansive part of the East Lawn. Obviously, this bare patch was created by the many guild denizens who commit their robust daily practice here. You also see Master at Arms Khalea, Master at Arms Erta, Master at Arms Gaetan, Master at Arms Witt, Master at Arms Olaff, a row of workout wheels and a rickety wood shed.
    Obvious paths: north, west

    [warrior]>ask Olaff about training Tackle
You ask Olaff about getting some training in Tackle.

Olaff pulls Kalidor aside for some instruction.
    [Warrior Guild, Shady Lawn]
This is a quiet corner of the lawn and rather private as well, providing a good refuge from the din of the practice area--a perfect place for discussion, contemplation or simply escaping the crowd. You also see Master at Arms Olaff and a weapons case.
    Obvious paths: out

    [warrior]>stance offensive
You are now in an offensive stance.
    >
    [warrior]>tackle Olaff
Olaff hasn't instructed you to do that yet.

"Aim low on ze biggies, and high on ze tinies," Olaff says.

Master at Arms Olaff rushes towards you!
    [SMR result: 139 (Open d100: 89)]
Your size contributes considerably to the attack!
Master at Arms Olaff hurls himself at you and connects!
Master at Arms Olaff pins you to the ground and quickly jumps to his feet!
    Roundtime: 7 sec.

"Zat simple," Olaff says. "Now pick up yourself and ve'll do it again."

Ah, looks like they changed "Roll result:" to "SMR result."

    Should be fixed now.

Hijacking this thread- I'm having issues running warrior.lic as well. When I run it on my warrior (title show: warrior), i get an error note that this can only be used with a warrior and then the script exits. Any ideas on what I need to do here?

    Darn good question.

Is ;infomon part of your startup scripts? Is it running? Is it up to date?

You could always just remove that part from the ;warrior script I suppose.

Just delete this block of code:

    Code:
    if Char.prof != 'Warrior'
echo "This script only works for warriors."
    	exit
    end
It's towards the very bottom of the script.
