Loving my new ranger but I'm curious about end game armor. Do rangers go hauberk, Aug chain, doubles, brig? Seems like you could make decent arguments for all the above but I'd love to hear from those with more experience

Aug chain is probably the most common, but as you said, arguments for each exist. Doubles for no spell hindrance if you’re a weed mage, brig if you like old-school middle grounds, hauberk for head/neck crit divisor and slightly lower CvA, etc.
