Thread: SSL error for LNET?

  1. #1

    Default SSL error for LNET?

I assume this is probably just an expired cert somewhere, but figured I'd post to see if anyone else was having issues with LNET starting today.

    Getting the following error:

    lnet: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed]
    lnet:117:in `connect'
    lnet:117:in `connect'
[lnet: NilClass is not a valid input stream. It must walk
like either a String, an IO, or a Source.]
    C:/Ruby200/lib/ruby/2.0.0/rexml/source.rb:22:in `create_from'
    C:/Ruby200/lib/ruby/2.0.0/rexml/parsers/baseparser.rb:127:in `stream='

I tried to update lnet and lich, didn't seem to help.

It's just the generic message for when Tillmen's server is down, nothing serious, my ;lnet isn't connecting either. I don't know if you have Discord or not, but under #scripting you can just inquire and get a resounding confirmation. Hope that helps.

The server is definitely not down (you can get on just fine with a less secure configuration), but something is making it die verifying the cert on the server end specifically.

Yeah probably could get it to connect with forcing it to skip ssl verification, I just hadn't cared quite that much to go in and do that.

    Oh.

Do you know how to do this, or will Tillmen add some sort of update to help out? Inquiring minds would like to know.

Coincidence the new ESP system comes out the same day folks have been having issues connecting to lnet?
