Do you honestly think he has read any of the constitution or its amendments? I find it unlikely. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY2Et8lMj-A

I think it's fair to say Trump is an egotistical idiot.

It's also fair to say he's been better for our economy than anyone in the last 20 years. And better than literally any democratic candidate since Bill Clinton.

While I find the economy important, I have to say there are at least 6 other things the President can have an effect on that are just as, if not more important, than money to me personally. Yes, a society needs to have a stable economy, but it also needs education, equality, health care, protecting the planet, protection of rights (and not just the rights of one group), etc. These are things we need to find solutions to without breaking the bank, and he isn't helping us on those. Biden isn't going to either. I don't believe in socialism, but I do believe that we've got to do a better job looking out for the less fortunate, and try to help bridge the inequality somehow.

Side note, I really wonder what would happen if we did take away American citizens guns. Would we have riots in the streets? Americans killing police and military? Wouldn't that be an interesting social experiment? I'm pretty sure it would be bloody, making these riots look like child's play. Does anyone disagree?

If only we could say the same thing about people not being treated equally. Right?

Seriously though, would you kill people if they tried to take your guns? Would that be enough of a reason for you to be as angry as people are now? Don't just dismiss it, actually consider it and what it means, please, ignoring it won't make it any better.

I think Clinton got lucky with the economy. But props to him for keeping it on the upswing during his presidency.

Yes, I'd kill people if they tried to take my guns. Without a second thought.

Also, I wouldn't be angry about it, just absolute.

The problem I have with this, as SHM pointed out earlier, is that the stock market keeps going up, no matter who is president. And there's so much more that goes into the economy, millions of variables, that go way beyond who is in office. I don't know how much effect a president really even has on it in the end anyways, so I find it funny people credit it. And if you actually look at charts from Obama to now, it really just shows fairly steady growth following the down turn in 2008.

This argument bothers me, and it bothers me a lot. So let's assume a fucktard like Beto actually got elected President and held true to his Hell yeah we're taking your guns. LOL, yeah okay buddy. Good luck. Why? Because it's a giant assumption people who have the right to own them, aren't going to hide them somewhere where they can't be taken. You're also assuming all those guns are going to be magically destroyed or turned in by every person who owns one, legally or illegally. You know what happens when all the guns are gone? The people who didn't, now have all the power in a situation. You think every bad person out there is gonna just turn those in? ...... lol. If I'm a bad person and I know you likely don't have a gun, anything of yours I want is mine, because I do have a gun.*

*I would never use a gun on a person unless my life is actually threatened. I'm not actually going to rob you, unless you have nice stuff.

I mean, they don't have defense against it so what are they gonna do? Call the cops? Oh wait, they want them disbanded. How did that work out for them?
