    Default OTS Tinnoc Hurling Box

This is the one sold by Gemstonefella in September. I have not been using my rogue at all and it's too neat, so I don't want it to disappear. I am open to trades (looking for augmented chain, and UAC gear of like value)

    From the Wavedancer

a non-descript burnished steel box - currently has a heavy vultite slab in it

The device is capable of storing many projectiles (after creating them), when the device is pressed. Within in the box there is a lever that can be FLIPed, allowing one to create shards which are dagger base or slivers which are dart based.

Each projectile has a certain number of used before they bend and break.

Also, you can make then and use like arrows.

While in hiding and retrieving your projectiles from the ground, you will not be pulled out of hiding.

The device is beltworn and weighs 2lbs.

    >turn my device (This allows one to create the projectile, the more you do it the more load into the box)
Your fingers find a small recessed key in the black gnomish device, and with a quick turn, you can hear the soft metallic click of it winding.
    Roundtime: 23 sec

    >flip my device (This allows one to toggle back and forth from shards and slivers)
You flip a small recessed toggle on the side of the black gnomish device!

    >get shard
You get your vultite shard, tossing it into the air and deftly catching it in a ready position!

    >push my shard
You tip your palm forward, letting the vultite shard fall a bit before you snatch it up between two fingers, ready to let the vultite shard fly.

With a quick flick of your wrist, you deftly send a thin vultite shard into flight.
You throw a thin vultite shard at a sea nymph!
    AS: +245 vs DS: -3 with AvD: +25 + d100 roll: +93 = +366
... and hit for 117 points of damage!
Blast to the sea nymph's head destroys right eye!
    Brain obliterated!
Disgusting, but painful only for a second.
The sea nymph falls to the ground and dies.
You notice that the vultite shard deforms slightly as you use it!
The vultite shard is lodged in a sea nymph's right eye!

How does this work with the new RECOVER HURL system? Does it still allow you to retrieve the items without pulling you from hiding?

I wasn't using it from hiding but I had been using it in conjunction with my handaxes the recover hurl changes.

why does it have a vultite slab in it ? does that box use the slab to create new hurl items of the same material/enchant ?
if so that mean ya could put flaring metals slab in it and have flaring hurling weapons ?

Ive never seen something like this thats why im asking this questions .
I started out with nothing , and I still have most of it left !

Correct it creates the weapon out of the slabs based on the slabs properties
