The answer is to buff PC locksmithing to make it preferable or at least comparable to the NPC locksmith. But that won't happen these days unless it's in the form of an absurdly priced DR item, like the auto-firing quivers.

All they really need to do is get rid of the RT. Worst case a pick/disarm attempt shouldn't take more than 3-5 seconds. It shouldn't require Lock Mastery either. Replace that bullshit with something else.

Some guild skills are easy peasy to do. With .guildx and a little love, you can master stunman in a matter of hours.

But stuff like lock mastery is an insult to the average intelligence. It's completely impossible to do besides being a real loser that will invest TONS of hours for a few, very few, infinitly limited advantages.

Mastering LM should grant you picking ability as if you are 2x trained in picking/disarming. Screw this antiquated crap of having to gimp the already most gimped class, in order to be a locksmith.

For all the crap people say about rogues being bad, picking rogues are even worse!

The guild mostly got wrecked by population decline and the introduction of cmans. I was thinking of listing offensive cmans as being one of the unforgivable things, as well, because it killed the guild.

They were actually going to remove the guild skills from the guild completely, when cmans were first being introduced.

The current Simu developers will just give you a smirk if you even bring up the guilds - they don't plan on touching them. They are about as important to them as finishing Savants.

The fact that Wyrom claims he play tested rogues in arena, in his own stupid pay 2 win event that he cares so much about, shows me how completely out of touch Simu dev is. How can you build an event like that, play test it, and think that it's ok? There's seriously something wrong here, and there's no bloody excuse that can be made.

His answer to rogue arena issues? Supposedly that was heist - except turns out, it's actually bad for rogues for the same reason arena is - Un-death-crittable high HP mobs.

If he can't even balance his own pride and joy event, even though he supposedly MAINS a rogue, then I have extreme doubts about their ability to do anything right.

Hell, all the dev they do anymore is low hanging fruit. I don't think they even have people any more with the ability to make big changes. Supposedly Coase knows the GS code inside and out, but where is he?

Unless I'm missing something, a halfling monk's bolt AS at cap maxes at 276 for a CoL member. 351 if you cast 117 first. You would be looking at having to cripple a target with an mstrike, cast 117, and then also be using 211/215/513 to maybe have a chance to finish them off with a 1206.

Ummm. All that's coming to mind is WTRICK FEINT only being effective in an offensive stance. And all the other professions gaining access to it. So until my Warrior can get maxed out Cloak of Shadows, I am flaming pissed, yeearrgh!

Critters having spells automatically cast on them when they spawn; sometimes, most of the time, not even a base spell to their profession – Like blues on cave trolls. And then WPS randomization as was mentioned.

Also, a personal beef, that my armor can't be ensorcelled because the powers that be decided that ruby should have a -500 ensorcelling penalty. But that's +499 from Veil Iron, w0000t!

It's a novelty spell and literally nothing else.

How heavily monetized the game is (particularly the recurring character slot fee) and the constant gaslighting that turning the game into Gamblingstone IV is completely normal or even necessary for its 'health'

Rogues took a beating when they changed to GS4 and they still have received no review in 15 years. Rogue by far is the worst prof. in the game.
