question about undead bane and sanctified

I interpret this loresong to mean that this weapon is sanctified, in addition to having undead bane. Is that right>?

If so, is there any advantage to leaving the sanctification on there? It seems like I should get it removed - it seems like its just going to make services cost more and not give any real advantage.



You sense a faint aura of magic shrouded with a haze of necrosis around the barnacled trukt. You sense that this is some type of holy item. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the trukt is as some type of unarmed combat equipment. A sense of deep seated hatred clings to the barnacled trukt, as if it had been crafted with a specific purpose.

This is a pretty common question that comes up with a lot of greater undead bane items. It's meant to be there, and not removable. Pretty sure Estild commented on this a while back, and indicated it was intended and always part of the loresong for GUB.
