Alchemy Potions - Naos Speaks

These aren't a priority. I might as well warn you all that the formulas and required ingredients for these potions will reflect their silver cost in the shops. I expect the ilvan'eth potions to continue to make use of the greater elemental essences.

Not sure anyone is really surprised by this.

The whole enchanting spell change over was a cluster fuck to begin with. It was half-assed and not near any kind of proper release, yet they implemented it. The backlash they received probably made them cry and wonder why no one came running in with arms wide open for a hug.

The only things they got right was making the spell instant and removing the nasty failures. Everything else on it was a cluster and some of the simple things they could have done, like making new recipes for the new potions - nope. Fuck no. It's not a "priority".

Naos seemed pretty salty that he couldn't fuck over people that stayed on the old system and enchanted past 7x with it.

It feels like hes stopped giving a fuck.

What I don’t get is why make the cost of producing the potions basically the same as the cost to buy them off the shelf? Why even have alchemy at all?

This whole dev crew fucking sucks. I’m sure they’re great coders but 99.999999% of their ideas suck AIDS jizz and then they get butthurt when no one likes the bullshit they keep making while simultaneously still ignoring the same shit that’s been broken and/or RSN for decades.

I think part of it might be Naos is already disenchanted with the game after learning how everything revolves around P2W now. He seemed very out of the loop when he first came back, but got a reality check during the 925 fallout.

The only real thing I'm basing this on is when people were accusing Simu of some P2W bullshit with enchanting (I can't remember specifically what it was offhand), Naos responded with some shit like "If I find out that XYZ is being done this way in order to make it P2W then I'm out." I wanna say it was something to do with potions and DR but I don't give a shit enough to remember.

Pretty sure Naos hates the entire P2W concept (at least until he gets in on it, probably) and the truck stop casino that the game has become.
