Greetings everyone!

Winterfest is almost here, about three months away. I've already started putting things together.

The dates for Winterfest this year are Dec 12th-15th. It's a Thursday thru Sunday.

If your House, Organization, other type of group, or you individually wants to participate, you can go ahead and start your planning and thinking process. To prevent events from overlapping, we'll be using a form where you can pick a time slot. Once you pick that time slot and submit the form, that time will be removed from the form automatically. It will be a first come, first serve. My suggestion is to have a couple times in mind. Time slots are available for the choosing right now. They are in one hour increments, so there is plenty of spots to choose.

If you participated last year, I will reach out to you this weekend as a reminder.

Also, beginning November 1st, nominations will open for Frost King and Frost Queen. Mischung and Jastalyn won your votes last year. Is this year your turn? Keep an eye out for when the nominations open.

Greetings everyone!

Winterfest is a little over a month away and it's time to decide who our Frost King and Queen are going to be. From now through the end of November 15th, nominations will be taken for Frost King and Frost Queen.

Do you want to be the this year's Frost King or Queen?

1. Players nominate their own character. Please only nominate one character on your account as your presence is required at the crowning ceremony and all other events.
2. Characters on F2P, Basic, and Premium accounts are eligible to submit a nomination. It is suggested the character submitting a nomination is well known so they receive plenty of votes when the time comes.
3. Officers of House Argent Aspis and ICICLE are ineligible to run for Frost King or Frost Queen. Members of Argent Aspis however may submit a nomination.
4. Frost King and Queen will get extra Winterfest tokens, a zesty crown/diadem that can hold a gem, a wand holding scepter, a ride on the Winterfest float, and bragging rights.
5. Dates for Winterfest 5119 are Eorgaen (December) 12th - 15th. Please only submit a nomination if you know or think you can attend events these days. The twelfth and fifteenth are crucial evenings to attend.
6. The first five submitted nominations for male characters and the first five for female characters will be our Frost Royalty Court. Any others submitted will be backups if the first ten back out before the voting process.

Then a raffle will take place and finally conclude the evening with a Parade of floats created by Cooperative Houses of Elanthia with a winter theme. Then join us all day tomorrow for a fun filled day of events in Icemule Trace!

Winterfest Opens: Crowning of Frost King and Queen

Description: Floats from Argent Aspis and other Houses will be traveling the town of Icemule Trace. The lead float will be representing Winterfest with the new Frost King and Queen riding. The parade will start inside the East Gate. It will travel west to Town Center. The parade will then head south to Honeybeer Road where it will turn west. It will end at the Windmill Burrow. Feel free to follow along with the parade or wait on the streets for it to come by.

Beacon Hall Archive
The new food concoctions created by those who attended were delicious by sight and look forward to seeing at least one as a new food created for the House from Beacon's Brewpub Bites where there are certain foods that go well with a good brew.

House of Paupers
That silly Warden. Getting his notes all messed up and creating Warden's Scramble. Good thing we had some very smart attendees who could help solve those puzzles.

ICICLE
It was a great time to go sledding. Thank you for providing sleds so those present could have some fun Sled Races. And if sled racing wasn't enough ICICLE gave us Five Golden Rings. Well, they gave us more than five. But if you spent 5k on a golden ring, you were given a surprise along with that gold ring.

House Sovyn
We're so grateful that the ever popular Cursed Cloves came to Icemule Trace. Tis the season to eat candy, good or bad. And it was fun seeing one lucky person find an actual cursed clove.

The Order of the Sphere and Scythe
This year we learn the scent of the flower from this organization. Thank you for providing A Speech Unspoken: The Language of Flowers where we learned some new things about their scents.

The Black Hand Trading Co.
And we get honored with more roulette gambling where some attendees took home more than they showed up when they were Gambling with the Black Hand.

House Brigatta
Thank you for allowing us to moving away from the chills of Icemule Trace for a game of Holiday HOUSE which is very much like BINGO. Attendees got their dabs on to win great prizes.
