Default Back again! What to do?

So I have been lured back once again by the return for summer promotion! Now its time to worry that my training is all wrong, I seem to hunt fairly well but after having done some reading it seems like wizard hunting has changed in the last few years, as well as enchanting. Any suggestions on where i might want to take this gentleman to optimize hunting/enchanting a little bit. Is it worth it to drop the air lore and try to get more in fire for steam? Do wizard ranks even matter for enchanting or do i just have 20 more ranks than I need?

    Code:

You training is great for hunting. Steam is a very nice spell, so yes you should pick up 20 ranks of fire lore to get steam. I would give up some MnE to get MjE and Wiz ranks to 1x level and to pick up the fire lore. You could just drop the air lore and convert to 20 ranks of fire, but I find the air lore RT reductions on 535 are very nice for manuever attacks.

You could also do as you suggested and drop the wizard ranks down, but the high wizard ranks will allow you enchant higher + items and make your Earthen Fury very effective. If you convert to the new enchanting system your essence accumulation will be poor so enchanting is going to be slow or you will need to hunt a TON....so don't convert until you are forced to.

So it all looks good then -- it's possible to take MJE/Wizard up to level and get 20 additional ranks of fire lore if I drop MNE down to ~45. Years ago I the meta was to keep MNE up near 1x till 75 to maximize the benefits of 425 -- do people find that not to be the case anymore?

I had a similar training to yours from 72 until 100 with MjE and Wiz ranks equal to level and MnE lagging behind. I had 65 ranks of MnE for at least a year after I capped and the small loss of AS didn't bother me. It's not like your MnE is way behind, it's just a few AS points...you'll be fine. And if you really need to feel maxed out, make MnE equal to level and lower the Wizard ranks and live with the less effective enchanting.
