    Default Effective use of 320 Ethereal Censor

    So I dusted off my Cleric after reading up on the new spells and changes to the Cleric list. I am interested to hear people's strategies and experiences using 320 while hunting. I've read up on it and it seems to reward not casting the same spell twice within a 5 spell rotation, which is interesting. So far I've tried leading off with 320, using 302 as an opener, followed by 306, 309, then 317 as a finisher. That rotation seems a bit mana intensive at the moment even with 139 mana. I end up spending about 24-29 mana per kill that way. What are some of the ways you all have found to be effective?

    ideally i'd think you want to go with more mana intensive first.. maybe a 309 317 then finish with 302.... even with 320ish mana i use 317 when i'm pretty much done hunting, and just want a few more kills... but to get the most cash back rewards so to speak... use higher level spells right after the 320

    Other way around isn't it? You get a bigger mana savings after multiple casts so you'd want to start small as OP is doing.

    With 139 mana you're probably too low level to really be able to work the bigger spells into a rotation. Maybe just 309 for TD pushdown then 302 until dead?

    You had better pay your guild dues before you forget. You are 113 months behind.

    That's how I read it on the wiki. For now 309, 306, 302 will usually kill like leveled enemies without having mana issues.

    My cleric is 2x SA and 1x religion lore but I found these combos worked really nicely;

    Living target: 320, 309, (mixed in 317 or channeled 312 fully charged), 306 evoked, finish with 302

    Undead: 320, 301, 309, wait a cycle or two, 306, finish with 302 if needed.

    I'm not yet 20 and trying to figure out a training path. On this - I notice that you've got a disabler on the undead (301), but nothing on the living.

    Is there a worthwhile disabler for the living on this training path, or is it just hunker down and stance dance and hope for the best?

    320 or 309 produced a lot of stuns, so I never found it necessary to mix anything else in.

    I'm 2x SA on my level 23 Cleric, hunting cyclops. I open with 320, then 309, 306, 302 to death. A lot of the time they are dead from 309. It works great and I can fry from an empty mind. I put the higher mana costing spells first, because they usually kill faster and I typically don't have to do any 302 casts.

    My cleric is lornon so I tend to stick to living, but the only difference I'd make on undead is probably open with 301 instead of 320.

    306 evoked does decent damage vs non-undead too. I'd also suggest getting 20 ranks summoning for web bolt, which does a damn good job of disabling.

    Definitely working on that too. 30 religion for the evoked 306 though. I do want both, but 306 is first, since I do primarily huint living.
