Thread: a leaf-etched ora falchion with a branching crossguard

  1. Default a leaf-etched ora falchion with a branching crossguard

Found on a critter, not mechanically impressive but maybe a good project piece?

    +10(ora), light crit weighting

    Look/Examine falchion:

Covering the tip of the blade to the tang, an intricate design of falling leaves has been etched with great detail into the ora of this falchion. Thin strips of interwoven steel make up the crossguard, the metal having been formed into the spreading branches of a tree. Tiny carvings along the surface of the maoral hilt give the impression of bark, while the pommel has been whittled into a gnarled mass of roots that surrounds a square-cut emerald.

There appears to be something written on it.

    Read falchion:

In the Common language, it reads:
    Nature's Revenge

Throw it down a well, alter a better piece into that same look.
The king is dead! Long live the king!

sick look though, I have yet to find anything made with such care.

Seems a shame to pawn something a GM obviously put some thought into... but GALD merchants are easy enough to find a fancy description usually won't add much value to an item.

If you have a shop, add 5k to what the pawn offers and it'll likely sell eventually. If not you can do an auction with an MB equal to the pawn's offer and hope two people are interested enough to drive the price up a bit.... I wouldn't expect much though.
