Officially he said it was because of forum features, but in reality it was about control. He wanted things to be spoon fed to him through a protective layer of moderators, which is why he immediately jumped on that other failboat forum.
I don't really see the GMs agreeing (or being allowed) to do an actual non prepared statement interview, but good luck I guess. Even if you could get an answer out of them it will just be 'lots of people attended DR and loved it so it was a massive success' PRspeak.
