IF they want to create more alternatives for wizards, upping fire lore is not the way to go.

Nerf steam and up the other bolts to have around the same damage factor but with real indirect debuff, big stun, or disarm when a boulder hit it, stuff like that.

Steam is so powerful AND cheap, other bolts are bleh even with buffs.

Disarms and big stuns added to bolts would inevitably be given to critters, and wizards have plenty of disables as it is.

The answer is not to nerf a spell to make other spells seem better by comparison.

is this like a weird approach to someone trying to go the other direction of the road, when someone says wizard tears are what keeps gemstone going?? someone that plays a wizard wants it fucked for 80% of the builds that are going.

But you cannot buff a lore thinking it will make other bolts competitive with steam. Steam is just OP.

Why would you use 910 when steam is 2 times cheaper and will almost do the same damage in a single bolt? Stuff like that.
