that or set the script to start with "get greataxe" and at some point he looted a greataxe, or someone dropped one in their resting room, and they picked that up on accident. combined with a blessing script that only triggers the blessing falling off, not the no effect message.

That's actually an interesting point. If he's not killing anything he's not gaining experience or loot.

Of course if a GM really wanted to be a dick they could slap him with their "catch all" scripting rule which states it's against the rules if any script, regardless if the player is benefiting from said script, is running for longer than 15 minutes.

They could probably get him for being disruptive to other players though if he's just swinging away at a critter he can't kill every 5 seconds.
