    Default 10x Double Leather

I legit never see this for sale anywhere and I'm wondering if I should just use my 8800 PP to bring my 7x armor to 10x. Would it still make sense to sell them in a huge batch and try to use the silver to buy 10x leathers if they're almost never available? Thanks for any advice.

No, buy the 8x-10x potions from DR for 75,000 bloodscrip (if you get them at the beginning, before they scale) and get a wizard to enchant it. Much more cost effective, IMO.
My current items for sale or trade: Treasures in the Brambles.

Enchanting something 7-10x is going to take what, 6+ months of it being unusable?

Also, any Wizard who can reliably do that enchant is skilled enough not to worry about the padding, aren't they?

Yeah enchanting 7x hcp to 10x is no issue for a capped wizard. Buy a set of hcp 6 or 7x and buy the potions. Though yeah you won't have use of the armor for like a year. But this is gemstone, what is a year of preparation.

5x SWCP is like 2500 bloodscrip... you can use that while you wait
