A couple were talking about decriminalizing border crossings in the sense they'd be civil violations not criminal violations, I haven't decided how I feel about that yet.

There are already civil penalties. In fact most people who cross the border illegally aren't criminally prosecuted, unless they are repeat offenders or have had criminal convictions in the past.

Saying we are going to scale back on border enforcement, open up our borders, and oh yeah just give people a slap on the wrist if they happen to be caught illegally crossing is basically open borders. The only thing missing is tearing down the sections of wall we already have, which I know at least Beto has said he would do in the past.

So yeah, pretty much everyone was acceptable to me. Warren was a little weak. Ryan got the Taliban and Al Qaeda mixed up, not an absolutely huge deal since it was clear what he meant, but still. I liked Gabbard, I wish she got more questions particularly gun one. I missed some of the middle so maybe she did. The ones who kept doing the Spanish thing was a kind of pander-y.
