You don't have to boil your burger in plastic bag to get a good burger... unless you are really bad at cooking.

Step 1: Start charcoal for grill (use a chimney, not lighter fluid
Step 2: Take hamburger out of fridge. It better be 80/20 or don't bother.
Step 3: After about 15 minutes, the coals should be gray on the outside and should be evenly spread out in a thick bed
Step 4: LIGHTLY press your hamburger into patty form. Sprinkle salt/pepper over both sides.
Step 5: Lightly oil down your grill with canola oil and place burgers on grill directly over coals.
Step 6: Set timer for 3 minutes.
Step 7: When timer goes off, flip burger. Place a small pat of butter on top of burger.
Step 8: Set timer for 2 minutes.
Step 9: When timer goes off, place cheese on top of burger.
Step 10: When cheese is melted, remove from grill and tent with aluminum foil.
Step 11: Toast buns.
Step 12: After 3-4 minutes, fix your burger and enjoy.

Secret to the best fried burger. Get your skillet to cooking temp and then press your burger directly on the hot cooking surface. This allows the meat to caramelize, it's the difference between a shitty hamburger and a top quality burger.
