If he didn't, the ball is caught and the game is over. He should have been flagged, but he wasn't, so his gamble paid off. I thought I saw somewhere that he said he was surprised he didn't get a flag. He is still probably going to get fined though, like 5 grand or some shit.

BREAKING: Attorney Frank D'Amico says he has filed a civil suit in New Orleans on behalf of Saints season ticket holders to make the right call and bring both teams back to replay the end of the game.

I think this would set a terrible precedent that would ultimately destroy the NFL. Think about how often games have bad calls. We'd have to replay games over and over again.
