This is a very unfortunate event for the lady. While I may not agree with her politics, I do not want to see anyone hurt. I wonder if she will finally call it quits now.

Sweet lady with a sharp mind even at the age of 85, hope the best for her in her recovery.
During the whole Kavanaugh sham she had commented that she was not at all pleased with the actions of the democrats and how they handled Fords situation. I would not be at all surprised if she steps down at this point.

She's broken ribs before. I don't see her voluntarily stepping down with a Republican President. Apparently she has staffers hired through 2020, so maybe during Trump's second term.

She should have retired in 2013. The pure-strain uncut hubris in wanting her replacement to be chosen by Clinton (RBG of course bought into the inevitability of HRC winning 2016) has all but handed the Republican party another SC pick. Nice work RBG. Nailed it.
