Default 7x mist armor ring (you choose the armor type)

a carved black anemone ring - Sold 50k bloodscrip

Fused to blackened steel, this slender ring is fashioned of carved black coral that is wrought in the semblance of a many tendrilled sea anemone. Painstaking detail is given to the center where incredibly small gears form a complicated mechanism that allows the interior to be accessed. Closer inspection reveals that the aquatic creature is actually segmented and can spiral open with the proper trigger.

You analyze your black anemone ring and sense that the item cannot be altered in any way.
The creator has also provided the following information:
This black anemone ring has not been set for an armor profile. Use PROD to set this.
You get no sense of whether or not the ring may be further lightened.

    >prod my ring
Your black anemone ring has not yet been set for an armor type. You must do this before the ring will function. Choose the armor type from the list below. When you are ready, WHISPER ring <# of armor type> to set the type of armor created by the ring. Once the armor has been set, it CANNOT BE CHANGED.

So...this is basically just a set of vanilla 7x armor once you set the armor type?

It is weightless and has flares, so that is like 70 pounds of free space you got.

Wow. You might wanna raise that buyout price. 7x flaring full plate that also gives you like 40 pounds of extra carrying capacity compared to what max light full plate already does? Yes please. Every small race that wears heavy armor in the game should and probably will be tripping over themselves to bid on this. If nothing else, it saves you 800 simucoins a month compared to buying encumbrance passes.

This is an amazing item. I seem to recall someone saying you can't add padding to these- is that true?

Pretty sure you can’t do anything at all after you choose a base.

Yeah, they're hard coded. The armor is recreated from its base code every time it appears.

You can enchant further. Nothing more though.
