How much favor do I need to complete the quest and upgrade the bracelet? And what do I do after obtaining all the favor needed?

1,000 favor for this year. It was 1,000 favor for last year (though award per quest item differently and variably). So when yu check you should be at 2k since you already have a bracelet.

It is 25 favor credited per trinket, so 40 total.

You do nothing afaik. GM has mentioned in Discord the bracelets will upgrade automatically on Nov 1st for those with newly max favor. Also, you know the bracelets can be toggled to other worn locations and item types?
