Default *.* randomly resetting?

So I didn't know which folder to post this under, so Mechanics it is:

Default.Colors, .dat, .his, .mac, .nam, .sou and .squ are all fine and dandy - they're working for each character, things like "you" "your" and whatnot are highlighted in yellow. Certain names are whatever colors. Most importantly, I've taken a bunch of time to create critter dying string that are followed by .WAV files.

So this is the third time, I think, that this has happened. I haven't done a darn thing different, I promise, and all of a sudden I play a character and Default boots up with all its colors and stuff gone. I have a flash drive I've been using, but I hadn't thought to move all my SIMU stuff to it -- and then it all goes kaput.

Does this sound familiar/has happened to anyone? I have no idea what's up with this !

Assuming you're using Stormfront, check the location setting and make sure you're storing everything locally. If you store your Stormfront settings on Simu's server they'll all disappear periodically. If that's not the problem, then I don't know.
