I have started the long road to go from 2x to 3x dodge. Can anyone comment on how big of a difference having 3x dodge will be? Thanks.

"Hi, my name is Ososis and I'm blaming my shitty life for being such a fragile, soy drinking, emotionally unstable loser. My triggers are: Red reputation, ANY mention of MacGuyver and being called a fragile, soy drinking, emotionally unstable loser."
I went 2x to 3x in mbp and no shield and definitely saw a difference. It wasn't my first priority post cap, but it was great. I didn't feel like I had to stay in mbp after that and ended up dropping to hauberk.
If you can afford it without handicapping yourself, go for it. If you aren't post cap you don't have to make the full jump, just go part way to balance it better.
If I've done the math right, it's 37-38 extra DS in offensive against melee attacks (more against ranged or in lower stances):
https://gswiki.play.net/Evade
2x Dodging: ((202 * 0.91 * 0.54) - 10) * 0.75 = 66.9471
3x Dodging: ((303 * 0.91 * 0.54) - 10) * 0.75 = 104.17065
Plus there's the extra chance of dodging attacks completely. I'm going for at least 2.5x Dodging with my rogue right now, intending to eventually drop her medium shield and go TWC.
