You carefully analyze your indigo linen skirt and sense that there are some alteration restrictions. Your skirt must remain some kind of pants, slacks, trousers - or skirt. You can change the article (the first 15), but it will carry forward to all variants of the skirt, even after unlocking. IE: if you make it "an old white shirt", then it will always be "old". No shows; long descriptions are okay as long as the additional description falls after the noun.
You may not change the color. You may not change the material. You can alter the "extra" (the description after the noun.)

This item is intended to have a "steampunk" theme, and remain something machinery-related. Currently the messaging indicates it has multitude of lenses. They should remain something like multitude of lenses and can be changed by a skilled merchant. The loupe can be altered with a long or a show, just keep all this in mind when working with a merchant.

The monocle is currently locked.
The monocle must remain a monocle. The monocle cannot have a long or a show.
The monocle can be worn and turned. Wearers of the monocle will be able to glimpse through the eyes of the one whom the eye was parted from.

Removing An Eyeball:

You start to rotate the veniom-chained monocle's frame, and stop when the tips of six razor sharp blades snick out threateningly towards your eye. They look pretty sharp, are you SURE you want to turn that?
